behind the brand

johnnae, the creator of the jzm brand. a black young woman with the "it" factor that cannot be taught. from camden to the suburbs, my dream of being a fashion designer was always in my reach. since styling myself as a preteen i grew into the style that my brand replicates today. three fashion schools down, jzm is my tribute to those who enjoy fashion forward clothing with a street sense to it. 

"where you get this from?" is the reason i decided to start jzmofficial. having your own style resonates to people and being able to create pieces by hand and see them come to life is fulfilling. in constructing my brand I wanted to focus on inclusivity. there's comfort in knowing that no matter what shape or size everyone can feel good wearing your clothes.
